Wife says i'm collecting too many ww2 jeep parts. hard to argue with her. have to sell a GPW frame, wilys hood and windshield.
This is a world war II jeep frame. Actually a Ford GPW with serial #248890 dated probably around late 1944. Asking only 125$ for this.
The frame is a solid replacement for your jeep project. Has no cracks or bad damage. The frame horns had a bumper welded to them (like 99 percent of jeeps after the war) but is repairable. the motor mounts are there but one has been modified and would need to be repaired. all but one of the shock mounts are there. there is no pintle but a plate for a ball has been put ont he back but it appears it could be easily removed and restored.
-The tub is there but would take a lot to restore.
axles are there. Front is stock and rear is post war, offset to the pass side. would like $100 for both.
Also have a post war flatfender type willys hood ($40) and windshield ($125), complete. the windshield is in excellent shape. thx for looking
