They suck as far as I'm concerned. As for using that in the rear for a 3 link ,no............

What kit from TeraFlex do you speak of? I have never heard of them producing anything for the rear of a Cherokee other then maybe a block lift.

They called it the "Grand Up" conversion. Coil and link conversion for XJ rears.

I think that Tera still has some kits kicking around. Call Bryson or Carl and see what they can tell you at Teraflex Plus.

EDIT: About middle of the page.

I will have to give them a call. I was wanting to use a D44 from a TJ and try to get the spring pads already on the axle to work but it looks like it won't work with that kit but using an 8 1/4 axle instead might not be too bad.

I've never been a fan of Rusty's products. I'd advise to look into Rubicon Express's long arm upgrade if you want a good bolt on(?) product.

Do you know if they sell just the long arm kit by itself? I've only found the complete long arm lift kit. Now this would be the way to get everything I want but it will take a bit of saving at that price.

Holy crap, that entire page is like, 4 or 5 years out of date.

On topic, probably going to be happiest just keeping it leaf sprung in the rear. (definitely cheapest too)

lol....I know. Last time I asked, there were a couple kits in the warehouse....but that's been a while ago. ;)

Leafs are the way to go with an XJ too!

Yep, PM Wayne....

Out of curiousity, why do you want coils in the rear?

I think I'm probably going to stick with leafs. I was thinking about coils because I have a TJ D44 to use and thought I could maybe use the coil plates and where the links connect and coils all around would be pretty cool but it will be better to cut everything off and weld on spring perches for spring over or just get a different axle.

Leaf perches are easy... setting up chassis side bracketry is hard.

Yeah, I can do the perches but would have to take it to a shop for the links. I will just have the leave the D35 for now and weld some leaf spring perches on a different axle when I decide which one I want to use.

Probably one of the worst lifts is Rusty;s that ive seen on Xj's... ride, noise and reliability

For Mudding Rustys is not to bad but you start dragging them over rocks and their old design would fail due to the thread style they used on the ends at the frame.I think they have since changed from using the Acme thread to something a bit finer that holds up better.Other then that I never had a problem with the kit it did what it had to and is really not any different the RE and how it functions.

I would still say go with TNT for what you pay and what you get it's worth it.Just know going in the front arms attach to the skid/cross member. So in order to get to the trans and case you will have to unbolt the front arms from the cross member and chain or strap the arms to the body .Then drop the belly pan and then the trans. This is not as bad as it sounds and most kits are going to get you the same way.
