So I just got done moving my rear axle on my YJ back to give me a wheelbase of 101" about two months ago. Now I am thinking that I want to move the front axle forward at least 1". Mainly because I am sick of my tires rubbing on the back side of the fenders, and I dont want to lift it anymore to run larger tires. Clearance at the tops of the fenders is not an issue, just the back. If I can get more than that fairly easily, great. I have heard that some people run Wagoneer springs as they are the same length so they will bolt up in the stock locations, just offest to move the axle. Anyone done this up front on a YJ? And how much will I have to mess with my steering if I try this approach?
