random rattle or any other annyoing noise in your rig that you just can't figure out WTF?

There is something that appears to be making a tapping noise while I drive the heep, it sounds like it is coming from right next to my left ear (like something randomly tapping on the rollbar) but I can't figure out what it is? Also it may be coming from the dash somewhere? I can't find it for the life of me.

I fixed another annoying sound though :) My steering shaft was squeeeeeking every little, left and right I made, a little PB blaster and fixed. :D

The secret is to just turn up the radio a little bit louder until the sqeeks go away.:rofl:

I had a friend who was psychotic about the rattles and noises in his vehicle. Is what cracked me up was that he would fold up pieces of paper and shove them in spaces where the rattles and squeaks where coming from so they would go away. He had paper cramed in all the nooks and crannies, it looked like a trash can, all to get rid of a few squeaks. :rolleyes:

i used to enjoy the squeeks and rattles in my samurai... honestly, i did... but now, any squeek in the 4runner and i'm annoyed... so, i turn up the radio. out of sight, out of mind...

on the way back from Ricjfield this last weekend, the passenger side pin for my marlin tube door was rattling like crazy with the vibrations from the thrashed driveline... that drove me nuts... try as it might, my streeo couldn't over power the rattling pin....
