"According to the Utah Highway Patrol, around 10:15 am, about a ½ mile south of the University Parkway exit on I-15, an individual lost a barbecue out of a pickup truck. The individual stopped, and attempted to retrieve the barbecue. Traffic in the center lane quickly stopped as the individual attempted to retrieve the barbecue. "

Gladly no one died when traffic came to a stop.

UHP says five vehicles were involved in the accident. A truck with a camper from Idaho was the first to stop. A motor cargo carrier with three trailers stopped behind the camper. A third vehicle with two female occupants, possibly a red Ford Escort, stopped behind the cargo carrier. A fourth vehicle, a semi carrying potatoes, hit the red vehicle, sandwiching it between the semi and the cargo carrier. A fifth vehicle, another semi, swerved and clipped the rear of the semi carrying potatoes.
