@mike thurston I'd NEVER have guessed that bears were in those parts.

The La Sal Mtns are prime country for black bear and they are finding their way to town more frequently these days.

My brother lived in castle valley and it was not uncommon for bear and mountain loins to visit the area.

Took this one during my 3 week overlanding trip. This is in Northern Arizona, near Lake Powell. The magic from that night's sunset was in looking east, not west.

One of the weirdest abandoned buildings I’ve ever come across. Inside is 3 levels and it’s framed out like dorm rooms with several small rooms and one shared bathroom across the hall for every 2-3 rooms. About 3 hours north of Anchorage and miles between it any anything else.

Last time I ran Kane creek we spotted this one right towards the end. I couldn’t believe it.

After breaking 2 dana 50 long side inner shafts 2 comps in a row I picked this up on my way home. Also spent 7 hours on the snake river near Nyssa Oregon. fun times with my family and friends. Always a good time competing with my daughter. Her as the driver and me as the spotter.

This is Misty, my cancer pity dog. My wife found her starved and missing a leg a couple weeks before my surgery. She took a long time to trust and integrate with the family, but she's doing well now.
