Smith driving 101.View attachment 140136
In Indiana, at my hotel, every single person in this row backed in. I see it a lot out here. I have spent nearly 3 weeks total at this hotel, throughout the year, and 80% of folks back in.
Obviously a bunch of criminals, always ready for a speedy getaway!View attachment 140136

You got it. Since I drive a company vehicle I have to take online classes every qtr. Backing into a parking space is a safety consideration. It's the next safest behind pulling through.I'm not familiar. What's that mean?
Edit: just looked it up. The Smith Driving System. Makes sense!
On most of our big construction sites it’s a requirement. We call it “first motion foreword”. If we can’t back in then we are required to have a spotter before we back up. Some companies even require a cone be placed at the front corner of the vehicle to force you into making a conscious inspection before leaving. You got it. Yeah, I went to Ontario to pick up a bike and it was just hazy brown smog the whole way there and back. I came back on 20 out of Mountain Home, and while it was a little clearer at the summit, it was still nasty.View attachment 140210
Central Idaho is real smoky today.
If you are working for SkyWest, my sister is going to have her fingers all over your payroll and paying for your jet fuel.View attachment 140220
They said flying jets would be fun, 4 weeks in and this is all I do 😂. Haven’t touched a plane in weeks. Should have stayed in Hawaii…..
