It seems a little irresponsible to me. There is no identifying information other than name. Common names could get people in trouble on that site. Also, it seems to be inconsistent on what information is displayed. I noticed when I search only by last name it brought up a huge list to look through. I noticed several speeding charges. I've had many-a-speeding ticket in my day, but my name brings up no results. If they are going to advertise that they have this type of information they need to make in very consistent, and have a way to identify the common names.

I agree... problem is - they can't exactly identify a person without risking identity theft. I'm willing to bet a lot of people are going to pull up their name w/ a record, only it really won't be that person. They need a disclaimer on there, too many people have similar names.

There are better public information topics to share than being a snoop for those things, but nobody is going to pay a fee to look up this information. This information is for the "looky-loo time wasters"...wait, what are we doing?
Just like in Boise, we look at http://adacountysheriff.org to see who got a DUI this last weekend. People will pay a sizeable fee for real estate related public information, so you dont see that as a freebie on that sight. I search Real Estate public information on a daily basis and the company that I work for creates the databases for basically 2/3rds of the rest of the title companies. We make a pretty penny charging for access to that information.

Hey, the computer says I'm clean and I'm sticking with it!
When my wife was in training, she was learning how to look people up in the Fed's computer system. She put my name in (instructor told her to use spouse) and locked up the computer. She flagged the instructor to come see what was wrong with her PC, but it was just taking a long time to load the thousands of people that are linked to me, professional and personally. She obviously called and asked who all those people were and why/how I could know so many people. After she started giving me some names, I realized they were all of my customers or not even customers, just people I have answered questions for. So yes, the feds know whom you email and converse with daily
