Okay here is the build plan 5.3 or 6.0, auto tranny, with around 4to1 t-case reduction, front and rear steer C-424 mog axles with 49" Iroks. Wheelbase around 120" going to get stretched into a 4 door zuk.

Here are a few picts to start with I will be updating the build as I go along.
brown zuk is where the extra doors come from.

424 Axles? I know the model, but they look similar to 406 axles, are they? What model are they from U1000, U1300, U1600? What t case is in the works, not a samurai case right?

Looks like you found some beefy axles! Looks like a good choice based on the size tire you plan to run, I think the 404s would work as long as you drove it on easier trails, but those will hold up to much more. Keep up the pics, we love to watch a build-up.

The mogs are out of a US military tractor and from what I have been told are like the 416 but the portals are stronger they have the 6.54 gear ratio. The t-case will be an 203/205 doubler, or one of the aftermarkets atlas/stak have not deceided which way to go. The engine will be most likely a 6.0 or 5.3 but it all depends on what I can find for a good deal. Crinco have you had any luck selling yours? If you still have them I have someone looking for a set of 404's. Let me know.

Also, if anyone has parts let me know. I am looking for an engine V-8 fuel injected, tranny preferreably a th400 or a 4l80e, t-case setup, and a set of beadlocks 17" for mog pattern 11-14" wide.

here is a pic of the 49 with a 38.5 in front of it

There's a pretty good chance I've never been this jelous before! Your axles definatly have a LOT more beef than the typical 404's, and that's a LOT of drivetrain for that little Sami......

Can't wait to see more :D

I will be using the zuk frame which will get reinforced. The 38.5x14.5x15 SX is a set of four that is a pending sale to cannoncrawler.
