Oh wow, that blows, one way around it is to log into paypal from your smartphone and pay that way using your card or bank account. Takes an extra minute or two but still allows you to buy at a gun show.

Technically this is not true. PayPal has pretty lousy policy when it comes to firearms and related items. So most merchants won't use them. Granted what they don't know won't hurt ya. Just a lot won't use them out of principal.
