First dibs goes to RME. I'll give you guys at least this weekend before posing this on KSL.
I could use some cash and I this Zuk has been sitting around for a while so its time to part with it. It is in kinda rough shape and it will NOT pass safety and emissions in it's current state. But if you are willing to put some time into it, or covert it to OHV only, then this is a great place to start.
First, the major upgrades:
SUMO II rebuilt engine from Asian Auto parts of AZ with only a couple thousand miles on it. (http://asianautopartsofaz.com/store/SUMO-II-1.3-liter-8-valve-Long-Block.html)
Calmini 4.16:1 Rockcrawler Transfer case gears (https://www.calmini.com/detail.php?b=2&m=40&t=3&p=829&n=)
Got Propane Samurai Propane Kit: (http://www.gotpropane.com/p541.html)
Lockrite auto locker (http://www.rocky-road.com/samurai-lockright.html)
Calmini 2" shackle reverse kit: https://www.calmini.com/detail.php?b=2&m=40&t=1&p=649&n=
Other pluses:
Custom made bumpers made from 2x4" square steel tube with a 2" receiver hitch.
Tow bar with fully wired lights for towing (the body lights just plug right into the two rig via a standard 4 pin connector).
Seats from a Subaru. The original ones where in bad shape when I bought it.
Bikini top. (I had a 3 piece top, but it's been in the weather for a long time(
Two wheel drive Low mod on the T-case.
Two 10 gallon aluminum propane tanks.
Modified LED tail lights (that look a little like angry eyes).
Minuses:
The propane systems is a bit finicky, it seems to run rich no matter what I do which is keeping it from passing emissions.
The body is a bit rough, with modest rust in the usual places. It had some body work done before I got it and some of the paint went bad.
I don't currently have a cover for the back.
The driver side door latch is kinda hard to get open.
Dirty as hell inside (sorry, I'm just too lazy to clean it).
The lift kid required removing the front sway bar, its nerve racking to follow a semi on the freeway.
The tires are out of balance.
The brake fluid leaks very slowly (it can take more than a year for the light to come on) and it is currently empty.
I have done lots of trails in Moab with this rig and will perform very well with a good jockey. And here is a video of the engine running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40RtYA01EIE
I'm asking $2000 for it, and I'm pretty firm on that number. There are a lot of good parts here, and yes they add up to a lot more than what I'm asking, but I don't want to deal with parting it out. It is currently located in Logan, UT. Give me (Greg) a call at 801-796-2536 or text (this number is screened, just say your name when prompted and it will put you through).
