Hey engine guru's out there quick question. Can you help me decipheran date code on pistons.
Here is the situation we bought a TJ with a blown motor to fix up for my son. We got a block from a guy who pulled his 4 cyl for a motor swap. Our plan was to rebuild that motor and swap it into his...
Thanks I really appreciate that, it would be a good backup plan because I am trying to find a spare before going to Winter Jamboree this weekend. I am really hoping to find a 37 but if I can't find anything else I will hit you up. BTW what tire brand is it AT/MT?
Anyone else?
I understand, I can have him count his pennies when I get home. I know he has $200 (well actually $100, I match him dollar for dollar on his project), but he probably has a little more something like $215 or $220 or something after the match. I am really trying to teach him patience and saving...
If you want to separate, my son is working on his first Jeep (he is 14 almost 15 and we picked up a TJ with a bad motor) and has $200 in his Jeep fund right now to offer for the tires. I would also take them off the wheels for you.

Axles: Front High Pinion Dana 44 (8 Lug from F250), Rear Dana 70 (from Dodge Ram 2500). Both Have 4.88 Gears and ARB lockers plus some other stuff...
Any chance you wanna trade it on a rock crawler? My Durango (SAS with 37's) is in the trade section of KSL if you want to check it out? Your truck plus some cash and we could work something out. If not at least bumped up your thread for ya.
