I have a comp #7705 pushrod length checker you are welcome to borrow if it will be of any help. I'm up north in cache valley but work in Ogden so I can get it started south without issue.

Looks like things are about as good as I could ask for. I'll probably buy a set of push rods, an intake gasket and some rocker nylon retainer buttons (8). Put it back together (checking/verifying push rod length) change the oil, and fire it up.

The rouge lifter seems very undamaged. Suspiciously so. We'll see how it goes. Sounds like lifters are tough to get these days?

I can't give a wow and a rofl at the same time? The driveway stain is world class epic. That's some minty new clean looking fluid though ain't it?

You should see the patch on Orchard. It's WIDE.
That driveway stain though:(

Right? I've got floor dry out there but it'll never be the same again. I'm getting a LOT of spalling on the concrete surface for three years old. Probably a better in a whole different thread, but what's your take on resurfacing? Mine is rip and replace. I'll spend a GOOD chunk replacing rather than expanding my concrete empire

I'm fairly sure this is my car's original color. I just couldn't go back there.

Starts, runs and drives again. Needs a battery pretty bad. I've got an eye on a 2005 V10 F350 so I'm saving my pennies for that. Battery will have to wait?

I ended up putting over 1 gallon of ATF in it from our little incident in the fall. Drives like an old car but will hustle when you hit the pedal at all.
