Mountainland is my go to, but I have an account there. What size do you need?

I looked on Sprinkler World website and didn't see PVC pipe, mostly the sprinklers and controllers.
I stopped by Mountainland at lunch and they only had 1. I thinknI can get by with 1 but would really prefer a few extras just incase. Maybe I'll check the Sprinkler World anyway.

That was pretty quick. I got a bunch of texts already and a guy from Blackfoot asked to send a deposit to hold it for me for a couple weeks until he can get down here. I told him I wasn't sure I wanted to hold it for that long with the interest I had already gotten and he basically immediately offered to pay full price now and come get it in two weeks. He's just asking me to do a walk around video of it before he sends money which seems reasonable for the amount of money it is. He says they are doing a putting green and need a reel mower for that.

I've been working as much as I can on the backyard remodel, it's been a chore. A big Ash tree was dying, I didn't like cleaning up the leaves with the wall around the yard, the grass had lots of weeds and bare spots, a few sprinklers were too high and got taken out by the mower, etc.
We added raised bed garden boxes, with weed block and RR ties to create the border and reduce grass needs. (Need a few more ties... and I hate RR ties for landscaping.)
We're planning to add a good bit of concrete on the far side, where the tree was. Hopefully a gazebo for shade and a table. Hoping to end up with a fun, hangout and grill area in the back yard.
Cut the tree down, mulched the roots, tilled and leveled the lawn, hauled several loads of dirt out, added chicken shit for nutrients, got the sprinklers adjusted to a better height and tuned up... now it's time for the work! 3 pallets of sod... probably doing it all on my own.

It's been a very long time ago now. But for the sod in my backyard I just walked up to a crew doing another yard and asked one of them if they did side work.
They came over a few hours later and did it all in a couple hours. Don't remember the actual cost but it was way cheap. And, I hadn't ordered quite enough sod. So they came back the next night with enough to finish the yard. No charge.

My back hurts, my front hurts, legs and arms are sore... but it's done. Well, 3 pallets worth... and I'm about 20 rolls short, despite buying 10% extra based of sq/footage. 🙄 I'll get more in the morning.

Yeah, I hear that often enough... the trunk is about 30" around. It would probably make for a great bowl, but otherwise it'll make great firewood.

I had a thought the other day and should give credit where it's due.
Back a few years ago DAA posted that "you can have dogs or a nice lawn, not both" or something like that. I recall calling BS because I have always had one dog and a nice lawn. Fast forward a couple of years and a couple of puppies later (now a one year old lab and an 11 year old lab)
The old dog was trained to poop/pee in the field/pasture area but is now too old and feeble to be bothered to walk that far to do his business. The puppy has been trained to do this pretty well, but still roams a lot so he's chained up part of the day, wearing "trails" in the area. Needless to say the other day I thought to myself, "I guess he was right"
It was pretty funny in my head. It may be a long summer.
