I think he would do great, I think he is just going to be bringing some baggage that is going to create a bit of a sideshow that could hamper things. I could be wrong, but I think there are some people that could do a good job but could fly under the radar a little better. Personally I wanted to see Trey Gowdy.

I question your first statement. Do you really think Elon and company are interested in the productivity of specific employees? If they look at workers, it will be about how well they support the MAGA movement, whether it is related to their job or not.

An yes, there are huge inefficiencies in the government. When a family member was applying for government jobs, each of the three agencies ran their own security clearance investigation. A few differences, but 90% of it the same.

Not ironic, because it’s not actually a government department. It’s a non governmental advisory board, that will put together recommendations. The end. Elon, Vivek and the people working there will be unpaid, and they have a sunset date of July 4 2026. So pretty much the opposite of what you are apparently imagining.

And Elon is totally the guy. He became a billionaire in three separate industries, nobody else has even done it in two. That ain’t luck. He knows how to slash and burn fat to be efficient, and is probably the most regulated individual around across his companies, so he knows what government bloat looks like. Literally nobody is better for this job.
