Marc Bryson lazy "build" -JT Gladiator Rubicon

We went straight there after talking to you so I’m guessing you must’ve taken a left where we took a right. We did both the optional portions to the right with the big climbs.

So, this is interesting.

I went looking for my lug nut key for some reason. Good thing I did as there's no way I want to deal with having a flat tire and using these stupid locking lug nuts. I have ti hammer this socket on, put the lug nut in a vise and chisel/punch the lug nut off.

I just bought some 3/4 lug nuts that arrive tomorrow

in most cases a 17 or 19mm will zip those right off if you lose the key.

Just an update on this. The normal socket thing didn't work. I had to buy a splined socket, broke the first one that's pictured above.

All the splined junk is in the garbage. I now have every splined socket available in that Amazon kit on the left. I had to use a chisel/punch to push those splined lugs out of the spline socket.

I need to get the truck out over the holiday weekend. I'm hoping for twice but we'll have to see.

I am waiting on regular lug nuts for mine aswell. when I did my steering work I learned all my splines nuts are twisted.

Trail Day #50

I forgot to bring a freedom stick along today. Other than that, awesome day near Topaz Mtn. No snow, very little mud, wild horses, good tunes, etc.

I think I saw you and your group this morning. I was on top of a mountain with the dog, chasing chukars. Assuming you crossed through the Lookout Pass area?

I do think you spotted us. I would guess around 11:00-11:15 am or so, possibly a little later than that. 5 deezel JL/JT with us yesterday. I didn't turn my GPS tracker thing on yesterday.... (the horror :D). Per my Simpson Springs photos, I'm there at 11:56-58. Likely easy to spot with the guac green Gladiator?

I really wanted to join you guys, but was down with a pretty severe cold that day. Looks like you had a great time.

I have been running back and forth to Ogden a bit in the evenings helping @ebryson with his townhome. We went to grab a burger in the JT and I heard a clunking that wasn't a good sound. Seems my drivers side tie rod is a little more loose than I'd like (who's surprised at 50400 miles?) and the sway bar link is REALLY loose :D

Looking at steering options but the sway bar link is tightened up.
