I mentioned the aging and hazardous power lines frequently on wooden poles, strung everywhere. Money has been collected to bury them, then that money gets appropriated to other 'causes'...

Drug addicts (sorry homeless) camping in the hills getting wasted, and their campfires getting out of control is a common cause too. When they run out of drugs, they head down to the drug shops, to get their taxpayer funded 'drug kit'. No, I'm not making this shit up.

The fact that proper land management has been basically ignored for years, leaves the hills ready to burn out of control.

Then there the gross mismanagement from the Government. Reservoirs that exist to supply water for fire control, sit completely drained, because idiots (sorry, Government Officials) are more concerned about the Delta Smelt, then they are human residents...

Then the Governor cut $100,000,000 from the budget which was supposed to go to fire mitigation. The DEI hire LA Mayor cut 17+ million from the Fire Department budget.

So what we have are fires that are common due to inadequate infrastructure, poor management of the land, and incompetence of elected leaders.

At least now some of the people how voted for this insanity, are getting a real wake-up call.

What do you think will happen from these tariffs? I'm curious from a macroeconomic standpoint how you thing they could lead to a longer term positive for the US? I get the Panama and Greenland thing...I mean of course it would be great for us if the US controlled the flow of goods through the PC and the resources under the melting ice in Greenland. I also say it like that because I don't think there is any doubt that climate change is real. It 100% is. I, like many of you, have yet to be fully convinced that it's more than just continued fluctuations in global climate patterns that we have records of through thousands (or millions) of years. But it still be a-changin'.

The working class is absolutely who put him back in office. They are also the easiest to maniuplate. Do you honestly think he has the best interest of the working class in mind?

I don't know that much about California happenings, but we all know that they are deeply in debt (much like the US). When you're operating in the negative, you have to start cutting some place and it's a calculated risk. Like DJT dumping the NSC pandemic unit in 2018. You're a hero trying to manage a responsible budget when it's on your side, but their bumbling idiots redirecting money when it's on the other. Unless you actually can show how that 100 million was reallocated to paying for homeless drug kits.

That 17 mil fire budget differential was due to the previous year having been given additional funds to replace aging equipment. Again, that pesky context thing again.

How about apply the same standards to those of both parties.

As to the BLM protests, it is hard to pinpoint convictions since most would be local not federal charges.

But arrests were very common.

I posted that yesterday and the new pardons came today? Sorry, for not rushing back and editing my post.

Insight on why Biden did that is what I was after. It’s a legitimate question to get input from people who have different thoughts about it than me.

How many BLM protestors got bailed out by democrat funding? How many actually did any time? How many were imprisoned without trials?

Um. that doesn't mean crap. You are taking Rubin's analysis of what he did/meant as truth, but anyone that takes someone else's analysis as lunatics?

I honestly don't think he did it consciously (maybe that's worse?) I do think it was WAY too close to the Nazi salute to be just brushed off. He said "My heart goes out to you" only said AFTER he made it to the people behind the podium, and didn't repeat the motion after saying it.

Then, after he is done with his speech, he gets a somewhat aggressive look on his face and does it WITHOUT saying anything. I would've written it off as autistic mannerisms like Rubin claims if he did it the 1 time and then says "My hear goes out to you" the last one(minute 2:11-2:12) without any wording, and he motions very quickly and definitively without any reference to his heart...and I would say, the speed and way at which he does it at the end is the Nazi salute, quick touch to the heart then straight out.

In no way does it appear to be a 'heart felt gesture' in ANY capacity.

Here's another take on it from Megyn Kelly. I'm sure you'll completely discount her and this too. She did include "Nazi Salutes" from numerous high-ranking Democrats. Anyone with common sense knows that none of them are giving actual "Nazi Salutes". Which is what makes this type of narrative from the left so amusing and ultimately pathetic. I hope Musk sues the Comedy News Network (CNN) for defamation. They recently lost another major defamation lawsuit for spreading lies.



My only suggestion is to keep this lunacy up through the mid-terms, and the next Presidential Election, so Conservatives can keep winning in landslides. :D
 
This is the only place I've even heard about this. So I just scrubbed through one of the clips posted above to see the "nazi salute". Are people actually taking this seriously? It sounds like they are. The world is even more effed up than I thought, and I already thought it was pretty effed up.

I can't believe anyone is trying to make anything of this. It's tragic comic.

I don't have TDS. But I guess you have a case of SFTD (swinging from Trump's Dxxx)

I don't mind Megyn Kelly (she is nice to look at) but I still think they want to downplay Musk without just being upfront about it. No different then the stupid MSM downplaying Biden's cognitive decline for so long instead of being upfront about it.

I did see the 1 video of Warren( who I hate as well.) She didn't slap her chest and swipe out like the salute Musk did.....the rest of what they showed was pics, not videos of the action. As Cody pointed out those pics are freeze frames in time and give not context. Musk is on video start to finish doing it...so no freeze frame needed. His comment "My heart goes out to you" comes across as a cover up to me.

I don't like Musk for a lot of reasons....This isn't one of them because I honestly think he is socially dumb enough to not realize what he did. Like I said I don't even know if he was aware of it......but his gesture was just too close to the salute.

I just both sides would be honest about their own guys short comings. They defend and defend no matter how shady their side acts.

Biden and all the family pardons was BS. To me that was straight up wrong and he solidified what a criminal him and his family have been with that. I also think Trump is surrounding himself with people who will find someway to make him "the big guy" and he will be getting his % as well.

They are all corrupt and Trump has not and had no intention to drain the Swamp. He wanted to be the king of the Swamp and it looks like that's what he has become.
