Everyone is always worried about the exhaust but yes - Fuel line touching the coolant system will do it too. I had a 78 bronco with the fuel line that was bent enough to touch the lower radiator hose and it would Vapor lock like a champ =) Bent the Fuel line a bit and it never did it again.

The College-slacker in me wants to say that 10AM is too early. Of Course I get up at 5:20 every morning so one would think it should be doable. I'm still down to camp one last time this year but it does look like not too many peopel are into being cold all night just to wake up and drive back...

AOD-E was the computer controlled AOD - with the same weak 4th gear. Mostly for the 5.0 and 4.6L cars (Mustang, Town-car, Thunderbird.) I've owned a handful of them. 1991 but I don't think it hit the mustang until 94 I could be wrong.
