Most trails that time of year it shouldn’t be a problem. Popular trails like hells revenge, poison spider you might run into it a bit but shouldn’t be bad. I ran both those trails last October and most of the day we had the trails to ourselves, getting busier the later in the day.

Depends on your definition of crowds. Definitely a good time of year, weather will be a bit cool in the morning in October.

I don’t like that the 4runner has become expedition/suburban sized. The thing looks massive, its big bulgy body panel looks massive. Can we please have a reliable, nicely powered, body on frame 1st-3rd gen sized 4runner again. I mean the sequoia seems about the same size as an earth roamer...
