    Idaho IBDR in 2024

About 15 years ago, the crickets were really thick near Jarbidge. The swarm was at least 20 miles wide from east to west and at least 50 miles wide from north to south. They were moving towards the east.

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I’ve treated the bridge surface at my previous property by melting paraffin in an old crock pot and then adding diesel fuel to it. This allows the paraffin to dissolve into the diesel and then can be sprayed from a standard weed sprayer. The wax stays longer.

    Work screw ups...

Somewhere in my lost archives, I have pictures of the runaway from Tooele Army Depot that collided with a stopped freight train. There were pistons from the diesel engines scattered on the ground and the bare frame of one of the engines was bent at 90 degrees. There were dead pigs in the mixture.

    Lighten the mood

I actually witnessed a truck do that in Evanston over 20 years ago. The city was hauling snow to a holding area and the driver forgot to lower his dump box before going under the railroad tracks. When I called it into the dispatcher, I had a really hard time convincing her that it was a real...
