Since you’ve had 3 of these, are there any brands you’d recommend or I should stay away from? For that price I don’t expect much difference. I’m going to be spending several weekends camped out of the sprinter over the winter. And I’m quickly realizing it’s a massive heat sink.

How has this heater been working out for you? Are you happy with the portable design or would you rather go with a built in unit?

My work truck has a 6.2 and I’ve been super happy with it. It’s a SCLB and I rarely tow, but it seems to always get 13mpg no matter how crazy I drive it.

Was this yesterday? I was driving home from Mesquite in the sprinter in that wind. My knuckles are sore today from trying to keep us from flipping over 😬

My vote is for something ridiculously fast or noting at all. Honestly all cars suck at something, you’ll just be writing up another post like this one fi you go chasing ”the perfect balance”. ps. Lesborus are awesome 😉

Well it’s better than nothing. I think it’s marginally better than just plain old water. I wouldn’t expect it to touch a fuel or oil related fire.

Horizontal vs vertical makes no difference. The siphon tube sits about 1/2” off the bottom of the cylinder and gets blocked by caked chemical. If your not maintaining the extinguisher at least annually then none of them will work when it matters.
