For Sale Really old 1/2" drill

Ok, I don't know specifically how old this is....but it's not new. Just the fact that it's a Craftsman from Sears Roebuck dates it somewhere a long time ago. 🙂 All metal construction, I went through and cleaned/regreased the gearbox when I first got it. I also replaced the cord and chuck key...

    Project: Cheap! But still OK.

One more--I love the way the sleeved tie rod welds turned out. This is TIG, with no filler--just melting the end of the sleeve tube down to the inner.

    Project: Cheap! But still OK.

Stuff happened! No valid excuses for why I haven't done much. I've been busy with other things, and when I've had time......it's been hot outside. :p BUT Firstly, more-permanent radius arms. Not fully welded still, but in place. Nextly, the pitman arm I modified wasn't able to work out...

    Your Pic of The Day

I'll agree here. I enjoyed Greece more than Italy. Some of that was the attitudes of the people we encountered--Greeks seemed genuinely happy to see us, Italians just wanted to take our money and move us along. Athens had some of the cleanest subways I'd seen, and didn't seem any dirtier in...

    New Lbryson toy

Yep, looks like an OG Tera long-arm. Move those short uppers to connect to the long lower, make it a radius arm setup. Will drive better. :)

    For Sale DOM tube remnants

I'm sure it would be fine. I'll check to make sure, but I don't think I have any 1.25" .120 long enough for you though. I definitely have the .188 wall stuff, if you wanted to drill the ends out to 1" for your inserts...

The "trophy husband" pro mod buggy build

You use torque converters as cribbing, but throw away all the chunks of 2x6? Super weird.

Radiator boils over, but engine doesn't overheat

It sounds to me like you have all your bases covered. One question, do you have an accurate temp measurement to go off of? Beyond the stock gauge I mean. Something like a Scangauge or whatever?

    New tool; Metal Band Saw

That one looks really really close to my Enco saw. It's been good with a couple hiccups that needed repairing. I no longer use cutting fluid at all. Dry cutting all the way. It's so much less messy, and I don't really notice a difference in blade life. I've rebuilt the clamp mechanism, had...
