Update: It was the solenoid on the IPR. In the process of figuring it out, I gathered all the sensors (ICP, IPR, etc) that it could be and waited for it to die, and then started with the easy ones. The IPR solenoid was the second thing I tried. Installed the stage 2 intake and EGT issues...

Whatever you do, REINFORCE THE FRAME!!! Plate down the inside while you are doing the mods. Go auto, and BIG radiator. I love my 465 for nostalgia and most of what I do, but if I were doing another one, especially for crawling, I'd go slush.

After a while it started running crappy? Do you recall where the vacuum leak was? Is there something that opens when it's hot that has vacuum? I guess we let it get hot, run crappy, then do the usual stuff to find vacuum leaks (ie, spray flammable stuff and see if the engine revs up) Good...

EGR? This just showed up over the weekend. It appeared after what I'm sure was some vigorous driving in AF Canyon and the tailpipe fell off behind the muffler.

Holy cow! When it starts up, it runs fine, usual power. After 20 minutes, suddenly gutless. Let it cool for a bit, runs fine again. Is there anything that opens or closes or otherwise switches at a certain operating temp or period of time?
