Still have the springs and tank and would love to find a new home for them.

My 02 Chevy just trashed the rear rotors and what I found was that the surface that the calipers and pads slide on was rusty and didn't let things move correctly.

I have never bought a new car or any car that required a loan. I used the savings to pay off the house so now I have no debts at all. I could afford a fancy new car but still drive old ones......

The longer lengths left are 1.5"x.25 wall at around 15' and the 2 inch 5/16 wall 3 at 10' 1 at 8' and lots of 1.25" would have to count them Lots of 5-6' pieces of other sizes.

Did the front shocks work out OK ?

Correct, tool 1 is a ridge reamer for cylinder walls. Tool2 is some sort of reamer, any idea what for ? The first one labeled guide is the one I have no idea on.

So I have been going through the old Jeep parts and tools from my son in law's grandad and found some interesting tools some of which I know what they are and some are a mystery. So I thought I'd put this to the experts here on RME. There is one more that I can't find at the moment but I'll try...

I went on line to see what the 2" x 5/16 wall stuff would cost and was surprised what DOM was going for on many sites :eek:. The 5/16 wall stuff was going for $28-31 a foot. 1.5 x .25 was $20 a foot. I know if you buy in bulk and have an account with someone you can do better but the average...

Had to change the post some of the 2 inch tube was actually 5/16 wall. Would make strong control arms.
