Wow, that's funny. I didn't stick around for the whole trail, we bailed after we hit the top of the world. However, we did run around on the hwy and up Onion creek to run back through the narrows. fun run.

Shane, were your parents or some relation to you running Top of the World on Thursday? I think I heard someone mention the name (Herzog) on that trail.

So, fourth year in a row I've made EJS. Third trip with my brother. Always a good time, but a bit bittersweet this year, as it will be my last EJS as a Utah resident. I hope to return for many years to come, but I'll be driving out from South Carolina next year (I better get a good tow rig!!)...

Surprisingly, Soldier summit was perfectly clear. I incorrectly assumed that snow fell up north while it was snowing in Moab. The drive home was clear as could be. Another great week in Moab is over.

for those of you unfortunate enough not to be in Moab this week, it started snowing about 530pm, and is still snowing now. The drive home tomorrow is going to suck.

That pretty much sums it up. If we as a user group don't take the steps necessary to minimize our impact on the land (in this specific case, it has to do with maintaining the fence), we'll lose the opportunity. Please spread the tread lightly philosophy.

I agree with what others have already said. Don't spend your money on a cheap winch. Save your cash, and buy quality the first time. My personal preference is Warn.
