    Clamshell Bearing Tool

Agreed. Hat's off to Agility. I loaned a couple of tools many years ago to what I thought were friends and turned out ending friendships and still had to replace the tools so I have a strict rule now, no loaning of tools or equipment, period. Also have less friends, funny how that works.

    ZMotorSports 2011 JKUR Build Thread

The aluminum radiator in my Jeep developed a small leak a few months ago and I have been waiting for a replacement under warranty. It showed up a few weeks ago but with the triple digit heat we’ve been having it has started to worry me so I thought I would get it replaced before we start...

How often do you wheel ?

How often do I wheel? NOT NEARLY ENOUGH!!!!:D Prior to 2016 we were out at least twice a month and attended 3-4 week long rallies a year, it was great. In 2016 we decided to move and turned my life upside down for 2016 and in 2017 I spent most of the year building my new shop and putting in...

    Spotted

Seen that one around the West Haven/Farr West area several times so I'm assuming that area is home. Pretty sweet build from the distance I have seen it. I would like to get a closer look at the details. Mike

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Knocked another item off of my white board Saturday morning. I fabricated my grease gun holder that I have kept putting off for way too long. I have had my grease guns in a drawer under my workbench placed on absorbent pads for the past two years and after greasing my Jeep suspension the other...

A custom axle for Anthony's TJ

Yep, marriage will do that.:D My son got married in June and we haven't touched his Jeep for nearly 2-months now. I hope to be able to get back to it in the next few weeks. All he's been doing is driving it. Looking forward to seeing your son's TJ come along. Mike

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Last night after arriving home in triple digit heat I mowed my lawns and then cut down my pole jacks in the shop. It was a little cooler in the shop @ 93 degrees. I have been doing a lot of suspension work lately and have discovered that a shorter pole jack or two would be beneficial. Summit...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

You will like it. It's a nice tool to have for smaller projects and is well thought out. I've had mine for several years and finally got around to painting it about a year ago. I would like to have a larger press brake as well as a pan brake but just can't justify the footprint for the...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Nice job on the pipe repair. Those aren't fun as I've had to do a few over the years and I cringe when someone walks in with one in hand. Mike

    ZMotorSports 2011 JKUR Build Thread

With the summer heat in full swing I figured I would address cooling. I have been asked a lot lately about my Jeep JK with the LS engine and cooling. This is a "hot" topic on many of the Jeep forums even without running an LS engine so I thought I would comment. As I drive around I see a LOT...

I posted a walk around video of my 2011 Jeep Wrangler to my YouTube channel last night so I thought I would put a link here. Thanks for following along. Mike

After setting the Jeep back down I went ahead and applied some Aerospace 303 protectant to my fenders. I usually apply this protectant a few times a year and for an 8 year old/100k mile car they still look almost like new. Thanks for looking. Mike

    ZMotorSports 2011 JKUR Build Thread

Last night I racked the Jeep to give it a once over and noticed the cheapy exhaust hanger that I used has already started to fail so I decided to build a new mount in which to use an OEM style isolator. Failing mount removed. Components I’m going to use to fabricate a new mount. I thought...

    ZMotorSports 2011 JKUR Build Thread

Thanks. I just wasn't seeing anything commercially available that caught my eye. Most were either too flimsy or too large and obstructive. I was about to build one that went front to rear above the driver/passenger but the wife didn't want the view blocked out of the top when open and so I...

    ZMotorSports 2011 JKUR Build Thread

So yesterday morning on the way to work my Jeep rolled over the 100k mile mark. That's 7500 trouble free miles on the GM powertrain as well. Also, I can't remember if I had mentioned this or not but a couple of months ago I took my Jeep down to the Utah Bureau of Air Quality to have it...
