I agree, that would have eliminated this problem. A friend has the short arm kit and he gets some rear steer on obstacles like the Escalator that I don't get. I think the only real fix is to relocated the fuel cell to the rear and add a true triangulated 4 link.

Great report Jeremy, and it looks like it was an amazing trip. I've been following the water level at Powell closely for the past few years, and it's a shame they've let it get that low.

Bummer about the t-case Eric, but glad you found the problem. I like your plan with the rear suspension. That makes a huge difference.

As much as it will be a PITA, I would bleed the PS system and put in 100% Swepco. Just my $.02 worth. Those pumps are very finicky. Have you tried an air assisted power brake bleeder? They work wonders and are a one man job.
