    Accord vs Passat vs Mazda6

I have had two Mazdas in the past (MX-6 and 6 wagon) and loved them. Reliable, fast, efficient. The Mazda is in the lead right now, if I can find one at my price point. All of them have LATCH system, and all of them are big enough to handle a car seat just fine -- car seats are HUGE -- and...

    Accord vs Passat vs Mazda6

So in the search for a new family/commuter (since my beloved Turbo S Beetle isn't child friendly) I've narrowed it down to the above cars. Anyone have any expereince with each? I'm a little picky on year, so for the following: Accord: 2006 (4 or 6 cyl) Passat: 2006-2010 (2.0T) Mazda6...

Well, if things go smoothly you can run Old Ward in an hour, hour and a half (someone correct me if I'm wrong). That's not taking into account snow, recovery, etc if any of that is needed, of course. I was thinking about running it bottom to top, then turning about and going back down. Meet up...

Be great to have you along -- I'd love to see your Runner -- but completely understandable if you don't make it! Hopefully everything goes smoothly, that's all we can ask for, right?

If you know you can go, let me know and I'll add you to the "going" list in the first post on the thread. I don't know about you guys, but if I see my name on a list, I'm less likely to bail! :D

Would be great to have you along. Depending on how snow looks the day before (I think I'll make a scouting run up Skyline the evening prior), might even consider running it up and then coming back down.

That's, what, a 29" tire? I would guess it depends on the tread and if we're going down or coming up the trail....

There's a big staging area for your truck/trailer. Your rig will be fine on Skyline and Old Ward, in whatever combination of wheeling we choose to do.

    Northern Utah snake friday 28th

I'm in Layton now, but I'm originally from Nampa, just outside of Boise. Lived 8 miles south of town out in farm country, and had the Owyhee Mtns pretty much outside my back door. Parents are still there, so I usually "borrow" my dad's truck and head out to wax nostalgic.

Which Pick A Part Is Best? (Northern Utah)

You find one? I was in Pull N Save in Magna (I was on a recon mission) and saw a few Rodeos... Website says they have two 1992s, a 1996, a 1998, and a 1999.

    Hill Aerospace Museum Downsizing

We go here at least yearly, make a good donation. It's awesome to have this many excellent things on display and have such an interactive experience available. Sad to see a lot of that stuff go.

@chevymog - you'll have to post up a report, I'm bummed I couldn't get away today.... Honestly, as long as we get out wheeling somewhere, I'll be happy. I'm not against anything, really (ie I'll wheel mud, rock, dirt, snow...) so it's wide open. I've heard the road from Hunstville to Avon is...
