Man, I wish I would have seen you... It's been awhile. I don't think I would have any fun on that trail on a hardtail, it is rough! That's why I love my full suspension, I made it down in about 45 minutes and was ready for round 2:D

Just got back from Snowbird, rode the new big mountain trail. It is pretty fun, still fairly loose and rocky in places but I think it will improve after some use. Only managed to get in one run, they closed the tram due to bad weather....

Nope, it hasn't sold. The truck does book for about $12,500 but I have another $10k invested in it. And I certainly understand that I won't get all my money back, but offering me $6500 less than my asking price isn't even in the ballpark, especially when they haven't even seen the truck yet....

Yeah, I had my truck on ksl for $19k, you wouldn't believe how many offers of $12.5k I got. I would usually just laugh at them and tell them to go waste someone else's time....

Just got home from a great ride up AF Canyon, did 10 miles in just under 2 hours. Slow going but lots of climbing with some really fun downhill sections. Very few people on the trails too.

Motor swaps are cool, but if you are looking for long term reliability I would keep something as factory as possible.

I've considered buying one just to keep miles off my current truck, I see them on ksl frequently for around $8k, then you'd have nearly $10k left for whatever else.

Or if you're considering a 2wd truck, why not a 2001-04 Tacoma double cab prerunner with the elocker, those can be had pretty cheap. Then build a first gen pickup or a tracker/sidekick for wheeling...
