Thank you Spork. I figured there needed to be some room for safety due to increasing pressure with temperature. It just seemed a bit extreme. The tank was still cold from being filled when I tested it. Should be interesting to see what it reads today at room temperature. Thanks, Jared

Glad you solved this. A very effective, but potentially dangerous way to find vacuum leaks is to spray starting fluid slowly around the engine area. When the idle raises, you just found your leak. It will suck up the starting fluid and raise the idle speed. Just be sure to have a good fire...
