    Roaming in South Korea

It was from the Korean War- discovered abandoned I believe within the DMZ. The armored plates are very interesting, although apparently were not strong enough to save it from bombings.

    Roaming in South Korea

My son and I both served our LDS missions in Korea- me in Seoul 1988-90, him Daejeon 2016-18. So we packed up the family for a couple weeks of visiting friends and exploring. More time would have been great! With the exception of the couple days in Seoul (including DMZ tour) we rented a car...

I finally got some Rocky Road rock sliders for my Xterra. Now, who would like a side job of installing them for me?

    Flying

When flying I do appreciate my small stature (5'7", 170 lbs.) One other thing I have found is I love small, out of the way airports. I have flown multiple times out of Churchill, Manitoba. Zero security (not even a metal detector) and had them call me at my hotel 10 minutes before departure...

    Flying

Not huge fan of flying, but love the places it gets me (couple hours from now I board a flight between Gwangju and Jejudo, South Korea).

    Making adult friends

I like that! Just shows we all have something in common with anyone. I think sometimes we are hesitant to try to talk to someone because we are afraid we won't have much to share. But reality, good friends can be different from us. Especially important to remember that in light of issue like...

    Making adult friends

Obviously a common feeling! I think as adults it does take a real effort to meet new people and develop friendships. Besides groups such as RME, consider joining an organization that isn't web based. I have been a member of Rotary (a serviced based organization that has members in about 200...

    Looking to relocate to utah

I think of long term rural is your goal, it won't last if too close toSt George. Parowan near Cedar, Rush Valley or Vernon near Tooele would both be easy drives to smaller hospitals. Same with San Juan County.

Northern Utah Bountiful Canyon (Old Ward)

I suspect this year we will see a lot of slides with the wet spring.

    Looking to relocate to utah

Of course for combined wheeling and horse property, San Juan county is tough to beat. Monticello is only an hour from Moab. And everything from Torrey to Tropic on highway 12!

    Looking to relocate to utah

How does work fit in here? If anywhere in Utah is a option to live, we can put together a long list of good rural areas. I tend to notice horse property when I am driving and have spotted a lot of places that would be fun to live in if I didn't need to worry about getting to work. I was in...
