You need at least 3.5" of lift to clear the x-member/oilpan, bump stops are a good idea, you'll have to fab a tracbar mount, I'd suggest a steering arm on the 60 and a custom drag link. It is not a simple bolt in, but if you have some fab experience, a welder, and a chop saw, you can do it.

Re-read my reply....the pinion will be off center. You center the axle under the truck and the pinion ends up off to the drivers side....not a big problem. I hav had mine up to 70 or so in 4wd set up this way.

I have an early 90's 60 in mine. Custom brackets and radius arms. I'll see if I can dig up some pics. Works out fine, but the front driveline will be running at an angle....I run a 1350 joint at the dif and a 1410 at the case....no binding.

Call me cheap, but, 1/2 ton chev calipers front and rear with a 1 1/32" wilwood mc made for a big mopar car....proportioned 60/40 and 5lb residuals all in the mc! run the lines and be done with it....I have to get on the throttle good before I can overpower them in low.
