    Project- more power!

Since last Feb I'm down 20lbs, which was my goal, and I've kept it off. I'm hitting it harder now, I have 17 to go before my kid comes in 8 weeks. Portion control, no snacking, and exercise. Can't wait until it warms/melts enough to get back on my bike.

    Spotted

Pretty sure he was out at Five Mile on Feb 1st with another Taco and a Titan... Looks really similar anyway. If this is the same rig, they were a few groups behind us on Rattlesnake and had issues - broke some lights and dented panels. I love the bumper though.

Northern Utah Five Mile 2/21 am

Wish I could join, but I'm already taking the afternoon off for a scout campout. So very tempting, but I'd better get a few hours in.... Stupid work.

    Do you mean 2/21?

    Maldito's 99 4Runner Build

And here I'd never thought of a snorkel for helping with anything other than a water crossing, which we don't have a lot of in Utah.... Unless you're Tonkaman and find yourself in a lake.

    Daily driver decisions

Dang, man. My idea of a "daily driver" differs greatly from yours. Perhaps I've been going about my search all wrong, why would I want an Accord when I could have a GC-SRT8? I would go GC, due to better brakes, suspension, transmission, and d44 rear. And better safety scores.

    The new mini me

Congrats! That's awesome man. We're expecting our first - a boy - in 7 weeks. We'll have to commiserate once mine comes along. So cool, enjoy the time off.

So this happened on the way home from work today....

Dang, that would be cool. We have Bear River, though a great company to work with. Falls under the $500 Comprehensive deductible, which is fine - it's going to be way more than that anyway, i think it bent a sunroof rail too....

So this happened on the way home from work today....

It was crazy, the instant I saw it my mind went into this "well, let's review the options..." mode. Thankfully at 70mph on the freeway the turbo spools up quick and I could accelerate into it. Glad it turned out as it did. Now I get to do the insurance dance, $500 deductible here we come.

So this happened on the way home from work today....

Driving along I-215, was a fair distance behind a big Ford w/ trailer. Bump in the road and something materializes out of the bed/trailer and arcs toward me. :eek2: Yeah, it was a rock or chunk of concrete that was easily tennis ball sized or bigger. And here I am zooming toward it at 70mph...

I didn't say it in my above post, but many thanks to all those that responded with insight and advice on the situation. Greatly appreciated!

Jeep Need an answer about a Dana 30 front on a 2002 Wrangler...

UPDATE It turned out to be an epic road trip with good food, an ice cream cone, excellent conversation. But no jeep returned with us.... Loaded up the rental 2013 Corolla with two of my best friends (one was the buyer in the above plan) and left Layton at 6:10am. Traffic was minimal, apart...

Jeep Need an answer about a Dana 30 front on a 2002 Wrangler...

Yeah, it makes the most sense with us being up in Layton to just jump on I-84 and cruise up via Wyoming. You don't have to go through Cheyenne, though, you can cut from Laramie to Fort Collins. Saves 20ish miles and a few minutes. I've gone the other way (down to I-70) and that's scenic, but...

Haha, for sure. Make it a road trip/rig-finding travel log! I'll upload riveting pictures of all the interesting things Wyoming has to offer as we drive through... I will post updates, and hopefully none will be a plea for help from the middle of nowhere.

Jeep Need an answer about a Dana 30 front on a 2002 Wrangler...

We're going to be very careful and take every reasonable precaution. If we get it, we'll pull the inners. Have some outers standing by so we don't have to mess with U-Joints. Or if we do, we'll cut the joints and replace later. This is his deal. He has this thread saved and he's looking at...

Jeep Need an answer about a Dana 30 front on a 2002 Wrangler...

He isn't looking for a nice one, one with lower miles, or for a nice "starting point"... He's wanting something that's built a little, with things like the Dana44 rear, lift, bumpers, winch, lights, 40k engine, etc that this one has. He's looking for a rig that is in pretty good shape, but not...

Haha. Good sleuthing, turns out it is. I'm not sure of all the details, but it sounds like there's more to the deal than I know about? It's his call, and if we get there and it sucks, we hit up the best burger joint in Denver, eat well, and head home. Besides, Saturday is my wife's baby...

I don't think that's the one he's getting... He found through a friend, not Craigslist.

We were looking at it more as a way to get outta the house, leave the wives to have a girl-day, and have a roadtrip in mild winter weather (mid 40s to 50s) the whole way. Look at a TJ thats got some money into it, but due to the owner wanting out (and having already gotten a new JK) is letting...
