I don't think that's bad for AWD, honestly. And I didn't know about the no stick w/ AWD, though neither did the Nissan employee that said I could get it in that combo!

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Did that too. I'm guessing it was because the control arm was in full droop? I dunno. I hit it hard at least 50 times. Maybe even double that... Nothing. 'Free' sounds so much better than the shop price....

General Tech What did you work on Today?

I beat on it with a 3lb hammer for a while... ... and used pitman/tie rod puller as well, in conjunction with the hammer. Nothing.

Less than 36 hours before we hit it. Hope you're coming sawtooth, I'm even getting my cv axle replaced for the occasion. Wish I could have done it, but I can't get the tie rod to let go. Oh well. When: Saturday, February 1st Meeting place: Maverik Gas Station in Eagle Mountain (9217 N...

I test drove a Juke as a replacement for my commuter car (they get good mileage even in AWD), and it was a blast to drive. 6-speed stick with a turbo munchin' on boost. My current car is a turbo, love it. Only bummer is that if you get a Juke w/ AWD your gas tank shrinks by nearly 1.5 gallons....

I'd be happy to help you switch it up, be in Isuzu recovery vehicle for a day. The best part is that you had a lot of witnesses. Not many jeep guys ever believe you recovered a jeep with a non-jeep unless you have someone to back your story. I speak from experience, both as a jeep owner and...

Hahaha, awesome. Yeah, I'm usually the reasonable one among my friends. They say I'm being old or too cautious, but it's better than being stranded. Sometimes. ;)

Yeah yeah. Now that I'm getting out more, I've a feeling it would come in handy.

I'd say you were scared your Rover couldn't hack it, but I've seen your rig... That's a bummer. Do it later. Come wheel.

Nice! Love it out there. Some buddies and I did the Sun Tunnels Jan 3/4th and there was zero snow and dry as could be out there. Wonder what this storm will do to it...
