I drive an Escape Hybrid for work, and we get right around 31 mpg overall. We aren't gentle on it either (dirt roads/two track/washboards). I'm very impressed by that little SUV.

Ummm in a word, no. ADAAG applies to all new construction (after 1993) of Places of Public Accommodation and Commercial Facilities. Restaurants and hotels are included in that definition. but I don't believe being fat is in the ADA
