    Haters

I'm surprised Cruiseroutfit hasn't chimed in on this thread. This idea has been proposed and recycled at least 3 times in the last few years. It's a great idea. "4x4 Friendly" was one of the names proposed for such a program. It's a great idea, like the hundreds that have been proposed...

    Pearl Jam Tonight!

:eek2: I saw PJ in Austin in '95 at South Park Meadows. Awesome show. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pearl-jam/1995/south-park-meadows-austin-tx-53d6633d.html I caved in and bought Backspacer off iTunes. I couldn't even listen to all of it. Blah!

    Student Loan forgiven?

Yeah, but since the extra money is going to pay off existing loans, it seems like we can conclude that there is an excess of funds available. For example, if they were giving out more student loans, there wouldn't be this leftover money to allow forgiveness on existing loans. No kidding...

    Student Loan forgiven?

That's pretty cool. Since they have left over money they have to pay back does this mean that there's an excess of funds available? Not enough applicants? Everyone pays in full so there's never a default? Doesn't sound like a good use of my tax dollars. You owe me a cheeseburger.

Kane County gets a kick in the crotch

Good points. I'd like to see this happen rather than the current strategy of spreading our incredibly thin resources across dozens of different things and accomplishing nothing.

Kane County gets a kick in the crotch

It is frustrating, but I can see the argument. The federal govt can't just take the county claims at face value. Presumably some kind of documentation is necessary. As we move further and further away from '76 it becomes more and more difficult to build this documentation, in some cases. It...

Judges side with environmentalists in battle over Utah "roads"

Wish they would've started asserting/documenting these rights in '76 when this first started. Better stop waiting and start documenting.

Kane County gets a kick in the crotch

Seems to further support the idea put forth by a previous ruling that any county road claims had to be proven individually on a case-by-case basis. Let's get on with it! Pick a road that is (in theory) protected by RS2477 and take it to court. Get it off-center one way or the other. On a...

    Cash for Clunkers....seriously?

The "cash for clunkers" legislation has been in the works for years. Mainly an environmental push, but most analyses conclude that the environmental impact is negligible. SEMA lobbied to institute the "25 year old" limit to avoid this very problem. Not only to prevent losing great classics...
