I had a uncle that put a camper on the front of a flatbed trailer and had his jeep behind it. Then you could do a RTT above the bed of your truck, with storage underneath.
Something like jeepers trailer but shorter.
Good info here. Thanks for sharing. I never thought Id be one of those people that did the tread-lightly stuff and other things of that nature but after 15+ years of wheeling and witnessing some of the crap that goes on. Im starting to lean that direction.
We all grew up .
No, seriously I crawl mine around in the backyard about once or twice a year and then I start to feel alittle silly like im playing with a kids toy .
Well lets all get out there one more time before the sh*t hits the fan. Im down for the rock-park or some go-karts. ( I might dominate the karts though).:D
Only in a competition would a standard shackle be more capable (something about traction and wheel-hop) but then ya hardly see that anymore with all the modern stuff in competition crawling but..... on the highway a reversal cant be beat . Off-road I never had any hinderance (being reversed) ...
When I first bought the jeep . It was more of a 2 handed white knuckle driving (wandered). After the reversal , it was one handed driving with no wander at all. Best thing I ever did to it.
I highly recommend a shackle reversal. I did that first thing on my YJ before I lifted it. When I sold it the new owner said ; Wow this handles great on the freeway .
Shoot me a PM about the bench seats if you dont want them.
Good to see ya back up and around . That cloud pic is so cool .
I havent been wheeling in months. Starting to affect me as the need to get out builds up.
