I got a couple things done on the DRZ today, installed the ThumperTalk skid plate and the Unabiker radiator guards. Had to do a little grinding on the radiator guards to get them to fit just right but nothing too serious.

I did see that thread and I will try to make as many of those trips as I can, I will for sure be able to go next weekend(23rd)!

Well, everyone else is doing it so I figured I would jump on board too. I just picked up a 2002 Suzuki DR-Z400S with only 3100 miles, the previous owner kept it in very good shape. I have alot of experience on street bikes but no time in the dirt so this is all new to me, so far I love it...

I would be down for a monthly ride! It would have to be Sat or Sun for me.

I just picked up an 02 DR-z400s, only had it on a couple trails so far, but I would love to go ride with some other guys on here. I still need to get some safety gear though, any suggestions on where to go for that stuff?

I wouldn't worry about the sidewalls at all. Think about it, there is just as much sidewall on a 35"/17" combo as there is with a 33"/15" combo.

15"s would obviously be the cheapest route, but I loved my old tacoma on 17" cragar soft 8's with 35"s! A little less sidewall feels a lot more solid on a daily driver too.
