Another plug for the CB radio- Dempsey and I have Spotteed each other using CBs. It has been the bestinvestment and should be on of the first things you buy. They are super easy to hook up and once tuned it is invaluable.

I think that you are the only one up for the challenge of it, but on powerblock tv (now powernation tv) the did a jetta tdi swap to a suzuki. I bet you could do that to a tracker. That would be my vote. It would "feed the need" to build. and you would knock off the list as well. ;)

long canyon and mieral point are super cool. make sure that you have some sort of CB radio in your truck. this helps a TON in Moab. Also Are you going by yourself or are are going with other people?
