Id look into your track-bar for the cause of the DW (if ya have one) . It may be loose or worn on an end.

Id leave the front track-bar on if ya plan on any freeway duty. It will wander without it . Mine did loosen up after some off-road duty but I added some washers and red Loctite and hasent loosened up since . I did ditch the rear cause the axle mount became paper thin .

That's great stuff . I had something like that happen with a cow. Narrow dirt road with fences on both sides. Every time I inched forward he moved to the middle and gave a loud Moooooooo . After ten minutes of slowly inching on, one of the fences ended. I had to honk the horn then he ran .

Is it TBI or MPFI ? Try some throttle body cleaner . Make sure all your vaccum lines are good, replace as nessesary. Also look at your distributor they have an oil weep hole on the backside so when the seal goes out it'll leak oil a lot and make it not idle right . When I replaced mine it idles...

Sometimes their castings are off a bit and ya have to hog out the hole the rod slides into.

A neighbor down the street put a snowmobile engine in his golf-cart with the same results "mega-burnouts" .Out of all the thigs ya can put a V-8 into a golf-cart seems kinda s**pid . If ya go that route make it safe, cage it .
