I ended up doing the same thing to my Superduty last year. I too was never a huge fan of two-tone paint jobs. However, the previous owner must have bombed down some gravel roads and the 1/4 panels didn't look so hot. It was the logical choice when compared to re-painting the entire truck...

I bet I've got approx. 25k on 'em and tread is at 50%-ish. I can see them lasting until 40k, but I usually don't run tires to the point of being totally worn out.
