On going spotty coverage of the MoutainYoats team via Beardy's view...

Not sure if the engine died, or if Rob killed it with too little clutch.. But, it wouldn't start.. The air cleaner had come loose and was creating an arc between itself and the coil wire, not allowing the truck to start. A quick zip tie fixed that. Timed out for 38 points, and we...

Course #2 Day 1 Up and over unto another 4runner eating cravass. An F-Toy had previously been stuck in there for atleast an hour with all sorts of broken parts: Guiding Rob.. The cones lead you smack right into a perpendicular cement slap sticking up about 2...

Even after some really sh!tty spotting on my part, we're able to laugh about it. We really could've done without that... This was my bad in the particular instance of, 'getting nervous at the 2 minute mark'.. We had time to negotiate it, but I told Rob to drop in without realigning the truck.

Wrenchfest for the next 45mins before we have to be staged for our second course... The hub fell apart when we took it off, so we hoped that's all that it was. But, after a quick test we discovered that the D-side wheel was still not wanting to engage.. So, with a new D-side hub and a mystery...

Can you hear the driverside 30 spline Longfield blow up? Can't talk too much crap on the F-Toy guys anymore.. They helped us out every now and then. We timed out with a whopping 38 points... Better than a 40!

Congrats to Craig Stumph and his driver Jesse Haines

Congrats! I enjoyed listening to your strategy on how to run the shoot-out course; then watching how you adapted as the shoot-out didn't go as planned and yet you guys still kicked ass.

    Thanks from W.E.ROCK

We had a blast! Of course our luck we were the first to need a recovery on Friday (I'm sure you were just praying that nobody needed a recovery until your guys showed up)... Thanks for your help with that, and for the extra wrench time! We learned a lot as a team, and hope to apply that to...

That was by far the most memorable part of the weekend for me. Luckily my wife hasn't gotten tired of me reliving the story atleast 20 times today. Hearing the judge yell "8 seconds" had me yelling to Rob over the radio was, "drop the clutch and tough truck it now!". Rob exited that course air...

    Educate Me on Several Vehicles

The 1st gen Xterras didn't come with a motor worth buying the 1st gen.. So just get that out of your head. Although, you do drive a 1.3lt... 2nd gen Xterra, as mentioned has a few reports of the coolant getting into the tranny. Milkshake in the tranny makes for an expensive repair. Guys are...
