    offensive 4x4 photos

I think that's funny. Another classic RME thread. I don't think anyone needs to attack Corey's wheeling prowess. He might not have a picture of his truck hanging upside down off a canyon rim, but that doesn't mean he's some kind of mall-wheeler. Everything that needs to be said about the...

    Utah Emissions - Engine Swap

The rule is that your emissions must meet the standards for the chassis. So, if you took a 2005 Grand Cherokee and put a 70's 440 in it, it would have to meet the emissions standards for a 2005 (which it probably would not). Not sure what you mean by not needing a visual inspection, but they...

    USALL product placement

Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but I think the sign says "USAALL.NET" which doesn't go to USA-ALL's website.

The Wilderness Debate Comes to a Head

Sorry, just a little joking. I thought most people on RME ARE serious wheelers.

The Wilderness Debate Comes to a Head

Just an after thought... I see a lot of posts on RME (and other places) that start out "Why hasn't someone..." or "Why hasn't the OHV community...". Kurt answered the question. The reasons we aren't able to do as much as we'd like are money and manpower. Not everyone can spend 10-15...

The Wilderness Debate Comes to a Head

Great comments Mike. If we lose this battle it won't be because we're wrong. It'll be because too few people turned their talk into action and got involved. If you're not a member of U4WDA then join! Use our secure online form here. It's only $10!! Then join USA-ALL here. Everyone...

Jeep Cherokee above the B in Bountiful?

Sounds like we have plenty of volunteers for the extraction. Now we NEED to get the VIN and license plate number. Some of you mentioned that you have sleds. Can someone please go up there in the next couple of days and get the info. Then I can find the owner, and we can organize a rescue...

    Off-Road Vehicles out!

SUWA gets the bulk of their war chest from average citizens who donate $30 to "protect wilderness". They brought in more than $3 million dollars last year. Why can't we get 1000 OHV supporters to donate $10 each? Fight back! Join U4WDA today by clicking here and using our secure online...

Jeep Cherokee above the B in Bountiful?

It's in a rough spot that will be hard to get to, but I think a "chain" of rigs tow-roped together could reach it and extract it. If anyone goes up there, get the info like Kurt suggested. Then we can organize a rescue.

Jeep Cherokee above the B in Bountiful?

I'm not sure exactly, but we went up Old Ward Canyon and went south on Skyline drive to where the Cherokee was stuck. The gate was still open, but I'm not sure for how long. There was up to 2 feet of snow in some spots. If we can find the owner in the next few days (before more snow hits)...

Jeep Cherokee above the B in Bountiful?

There's a Jeep Cherokee stuck in the deep snow above the 'B' in Bountiful and Skyline drive. The story I've heard is that the guy is leaving it up there until summer because he can't get it unstuck. Anyone know who this is? If it's not too late (too much snow, closed roads) then I'm all about...

    We are uncouth, disreputable vandals!

James, as I'm sure you learned in kindergarten only you can make yourself feel like an ass. That's not the intent at all. Just trying to say that by perpetuating the stereotypes of anti-access supporters, it makes us no better than them for doing the same to us. In private forums and private...

    We are uncouth, disreputable vandals!

Great stuff UtahFire! SUWA is hilarious! For those of y'all who were talking about hunting eco-folk: WE all know you're joking, but posting that stuff in a public and observed forum isn't good for the cause. Just a suggestion.
