Thanks! Nikon D70S with a Nikkor 18-70mm 3.5-4.5 DX (67mm dia) for the close up shots. Any shots of the racing I used my Nikkor 70-300mm 4-5.6 (62mm dia). I also always have on a 67mm Tiffen circular polarizer filter w/ 62mm adapter, and collapsable hood.

^ That's brilliant! Not only does it solve routing issues, it's actually helping your winch to have more power - by having less rope on the drum.. Brilliant..

To aid in getting the winch rope in/out of tubes you could possibly use a fishing pole.. Easy to store as they are collapsable, and you could come up with a way to attach the rope to the pole.. Or something on the end of it that would push/pull the rope along.

What are the measurements on that bumper? end to end.. Height.. any other measurements.

It blows my mind that you feel the need for a trailer.. You're one guy, in a smallish SUV.. By yourself!

An interesting tidbit that i'd not known before, is that these guys all design their own tread patterns.. They'll get a sort of unfinished M/T or A/T tire from Toyo, General etc, and then a guy cuts a tread pattern before each race, specifically for each track consistency.. Pretty badass to watch..
