I drove home through Tooele last time I went. I think with Legacy it saved me like 3 minutes. I kind of like the big loop. Head there through lehi then head hom through Tooele. Unless there is traffic of course. Unless there is a big wreck....there wont be any traffic tomorrow...

Anything has a possibilty of breaking of course. With what you have described I wouldnt bother changing out the front. I think it will do you fine. Just remember that it is what it is. You start wheeling hard it might break. Of course if it does explode......there is your reason to swap...
