Ok. Torn down to pressure wash and after what seemed like $100 in quarters and a can or two of degreaser and scrubbing (a kitchen dish scrubber is my tool of choice). Starting to shape up.

Well here is the next one. I'll post it here because it's a Kawi 2000 Kawasaki KDX 200 Runs well. Looks like junk. The seat... looks like a dog chewed it and then somebody recovered it. Haha this will be a challenge.

Shiny and expensive Also I got a chance to do 42 miles on this ripping around some gnarly offroad and WORCS race course stuff in Cedar the other day and it rips, makes great power on the bottom end, low enough gear to rock crawl, the suspension is excellent (albeit a little stiff for a light...

He said the fork seal didn't fit initially. I'll ask him next time how he fixed them. I imagine it involves something more delicate than a hammer though which is how I'd do it.

I don't think I couldn't have done them. I think it was just bushings additionally, but he said one of the tubes was slightly out of round and he fixed it. I have no idea how.

I meant Sunday, after church before I go home. That would be crazy to ride after a race.

    Another KX250 Project...

Changed the oil (it was surprisingly clean) buffed the plastics a bit (Degreaser and 1000 grit wet paper is magic). I've still got to clean the air filter but that will have to wait until it warms up around here because it's only like 20*F and my wife would KILL me if I did it in the house...

Well I broke down and paid to have the forks rebuilt, they needed a little more than just seals and fluids, so I'm glad it didn't do it myself because I made the deal for the price before the shop opened them so that turned out well for me.

48mm Fork Seal Driver Tool $5 or trade

Crud, I just missed it. I'll get it for you Paul I could have used that on my KX forks yesterday. I just paid to have them done today because I didn't want to buy the tool lol.

    Another KX250 Project...

Well no one wanted to just sell me the rebound clicker screw so I ended up ordering a whole new fork cap today (Kawasaki OEM), I won't have it for a week on so and I hope to have my forks back tomorrow, so when the new cap comes I can just swap the caps on the bike. I've got lower fork covers...

Case protector, a must for all my builds, luckily I didn't have to buy one for this bike :D Parts! Safety wire on the new grips. And ASV levers make me happy. Rubber mount bars. Outlaw makes some nice parts.

    The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

4 strokes are weird lol I earned some good Karma here, because about 30 minutes later I ran out of gas on the Honda and had to take a strap behind a Titan down the road for a few miles :chuckle: (These guys were going definitely going to roll, that front tire picked up about 5 feet in...
