I have always wondered how a manufacturer figures tow ratings. Several years ago i read that the Nissan Frontier( there little truck?) had a tow rating of like 6500lbs. I think I would take the expedition over a taco or 4runner. Just a larger heavier vehicle. I have a sequoia that I have thought about towing my Jeep with. Sure it is rated to tow well past what the jeep weighs but I would not want to be in a panic situation with the Sequoia.

Thats funny. I sold that cruiser last year for 300 bucks. It did not have a motor in it though. Good luck with the sale. Hopefully you can get 3 grand. :)
