I just picked up a Dana 44 drum brake axle. I want to swap it to disk brakes before the swap. I have heard of using a combination of ford and chevy parts to do the swap. What do I need?

I ran golden spike backwards about a year and a half ago. We got lost. Still dont know what trail we had done. It was marked. I remember when we hooked back into Golden Spike. We hung a right down into that little canyon with the water hole. It was maybe half mile to the water hole. Were was I?
