    Learning to weld

I know it's an old(ish) thread, but I'd be interested in this. Got a few projects I'd like to tackle but haven't done because they all require welding as at least one of the steps. Like someone else here mentioned - I don't want to start a new career - just learn enough to get a few projects...

    Alignment Recommendations?

Just replaced the tie rods on the Bronco, and now it's sitting a little off. Got things as close as I could to where I think they should be, but I definitely want to a have a pro do a real alignment on the front end. Any recommendations for a good shop that won't charge me a fortune? I'm in...

Are the Quarterly Trainings still a thing?

Just had some plans change, so I can be there for something the weekend of the 27th, and could likely bring a friend along. Tying it in with the NLPD stuff seems like a great idea to me.

No worries - just had to ask.

Are the Quarterly Trainings still a thing?

Thought I'd resurrect this thread and see if there were any updates on making this happen. As long as it's not the weekend of Sept 26, I can be there. As one of the new guys, I couldn't do much in the way of instruction, but I'm willing to help out where I can to make this happen.

Lifting my Bronco - Thoughts on Tuff Country?

I'm interested, but I know that my accountant isn't. Curious though - what are you asking for the rear axle? I've been wanting to do the disc conversion and locker, but might as well upgrade the axle while I'm at it.

Lifting my Bronco - Thoughts on Tuff Country?

I've been wanting to lift my '94 Bronco, and have been looking at Tuff Country's Performance 4" kit. Seems like a decent enough kit, but I'm having a hard time finding some recent reviews on the thing. Most of the info I'm finding is from 4-5 years ago, so I'd like to find something a bit more...

    Lawn Care Questions

I'm actually getting ready to seed my backyard in a couple of weeks, so this would be good to know.

    I hate Classifieds Lowballers...

Lately I've just been getting calls that go something like this: Them: "Do you still have that thing for sale?" Me: "Yup - would you like to come take a look at it?" Them: "Thanks." *click* …and then I never hear from them again. It's like these folks are just taking a survey or something.

Ever wanted to learn guitar? It's not too late.

I've been playing for close to 15 years now, and Rocksmith is one of my favorite tools. I've probably made more progress playing guitar with Rocksmith than I have in the years leading up to it. Mostly because it does make it fun to practice, and it's actually a pretty decent way to learn a new...

Are the Quarterly Trainings still a thing?

September would be better, but I could do October as well. I'll second the call for some hands on recovery training. And honestly, just some general tech info would be good too - info on lockers, diffs, and just general info on making a rig trail-worthy. I've owned trucks off & on for years, but...

Are the Quarterly Trainings still a thing?

I've been browsing the forums, and I've seen the info about the Quarterly Training events that have happened in the past. Those sounded pretty great, and I'm bummed I missed out on those. Are there any plans or desire for doing these things in the future? I'd love to attend one.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

A few days ago I was working on getting my tailgate window to lower and then actually being able to lower the gate itself. That all works now, so if I have the time when I get home tonight, I'll be replacing the airbag clock spring so that I can have a horn and airbag again. (And hopefully pass...
