when I did mine (JK not XJ) the brakes worked ok they just weren't super confidence inspiring that's why I upgraded. They were fine off road but scary in 'on the road' emergency maneuvers- too soft/squishy.
Awesome! I'll see if I can get an update on the driveline today.
For future reference on the brakes- I wonder if the J8 booster will fit an xj? thats what I run and it rocks for the 1 ton axles and brakes, took them from squishy to rock solid. If not the J8 booster I'm sure there are other ones...
Alright, I need both drivelines, rear flange yoke (if possible) and measurments over to Steve at GRS. 2100 south 950 west Slc Utah. Jinx says he can run them over once Ryans back. Steve will figure it out for us.
Ok talked withTattons. They are open and willing to see what they can do to help. They asked me to call back once i have better details of what we need. I let them know that would be after trail hero. I'll put a call i to Adams too, hes always been awesome for us at w4x4j.
Huge thanks to Agility Customs for taking the jeep in and Jinx for storing the trailer while the jeep gets finished. Its awesome the response this has received. RME rocks.
After talking with Kevin, I think I'll just use his trailer. Then I'm not deadheading an empty trailer. If we're all on the same page I could run down Sun afternoon and grab it, then drop off at Agility whenever its convenient.
I'm no good on the fab side but can help with the other stuff and transportation if it needs to come up here. I've been wanting to see Steves shop anyway.
